Hi, We will be sailing from s. Norway up the west coast this summer about 2000 km.

We are interested where the weak points on the boat are, where to reinforce to minimize breakdowns.  Especially in the rig; stays? chainplates? mast tang? headstay/bridal?

We have an older tornado, Alu mast (not tapered), we plan to rig it for the gennaker.

Any tips, ideas, or advice from people with experience on the tornado would be great.

Thanks
